1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using MechSimulator (mechsimulator.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website.

2. Use of the Service

MechSimulator is a free, browser-based platform providing interactive mechanical engineering simulators for educational purposes. You may use the simulators for:

• Personal learning and self-study
• Classroom instruction and technical education
• Engineering training programmes
• Non-commercial educational use

You may share direct links to simulators freely. You may not copy, mirror, scrape, or reproduce the simulator code or content on another website without prior written permission.

Images in teaching and assessment

Teachers, trainers and educational institutions may download or capture images they create with the simulators (screenshots, exported images and diagrams) and reproduce them in their own teaching materials and assessments, including exams, quizzes, assignments, practical tasks, marking guides and internal learning portals. You do not need to ask for permission each time, provided that:

• each image, or the assessment’s references, credits MechSimulator, for example: “Image created with MechSimulator – Vernier Caliper Simulator, https://mechsimulator.com/tools/vernier-caliper/ (accessed DD Month YYYY)”, or “Source: MechSimulator (mechsimulator.com)” where space is short;
• the materials are used for teaching and assessing your own learners and are not sold, licensed or otherwise used commercially.

This permission covers images only. It does not extend to copying the simulators themselves, their code or the written articles. For any other use, please contact us; we are happy to help.

3. Educational Purpose & Accuracy

The simulators on MechSimulator are designed for educational illustration only. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, the results produced by these tools should not be used for real engineering design, safety-critical calculations, or professional decision-making without independent verification by a qualified engineer.

MechSimulator accepts no liability for decisions made based on simulator outputs.

4. Intellectual Property

All simulator code, visual design, written content, and educational materials on mechsimulator.com are the intellectual property of Naseel Ibnu Azeez unless otherwise stated. Except as permitted in Section 2 (including images in teaching and assessment), unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of any content is prohibited.

SVG icons and third-party libraries (where used) remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their respective licences.

5. Advertising

MechSimulator displays advertisements served by Google AdSense to support the costs of running the platform. By using this site, you consent to the display of these advertisements. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

MechSimulator is provided “as is” without any warranty, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the website is free from viruses or other harmful components. Use of the site is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Naseel Ibnu Azeez and MechSimulator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or its content.

8. Privacy

Your use of MechSimulator is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle information collected through Google Analytics and Google AdSense.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting, with the “Last updated” date revised accordingly. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
